Whether you like your pesto on pasta, chicken or sandwiches we highly recommend that you try out this version of pesto! It is incredibly easy to make and versatile so that you can adapt it for your family.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pine nuts or walnuts lightly toasted
- 2 cups kale sliced and packed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups basil sliced and packed
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Instructions
- Put the kale in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 2).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the kale is cooked, put it in the blending bowl with toasted walnuts, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the lemon juice, basil, salt and garlic.
- Blend, adding some of the cooking liquid to bring the pesto the desired consistency.
