Tomato Soup
We've taken this classic comfort food and adapted it to be made in Babycook for the whole family! It's easy to whip up on a chilly afternoon or evening and is guaranteed to warm the heart.
Ingredients
- Approx. 2 1/2 cups tomatoes chopped, plus extra for decoration
- 1/4 cup fennel
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Put the tomatoes (not tomato paste), fennel, garlic, and basil in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 2).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the tomatoes, garlic, and basil are cooked, put them in the blending bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend to bring the puree to the desired consistency.
