A purée that’s delicious for baby and for adults? Yes! We came across this fantastic recipe from and adapted it for Babycook- not only is it a fiber-filled sweet treat for your baby, but adults can enjoy it too. We suggest swirling it into oatmeal or even into ice cream. Top it with a sprinkle of cinnamon for a little extra spice!

Good to Know: Pears are super high in fiber, Vitamin C and potassium. Unlike other fruits, pears do not need to be skinned before feeding to baby- the skin is easy enough for baby to digest.
  1. Put the bananas and pears in the steamer basket.
  2. Pour water into the tank (level 3).
  3. Start the cooking process.
  4. When the bananas and pears are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
  5. Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
