"Red" Chicken
Since tomatoes and peppers are summer veggies, we recommend making this recipe in the summer or fall for peak flavor!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tomatoes blanched and cubed
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper cubed
- 1/8 cup rice
- 1 ounce chicken
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
- Put the rice in the Rice, Pasta and Grain insert.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3) and 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons of water directly into the bowl.
- Start the cooking process.
- When the rice is cooked, put it in a bowl and put aside.
- Put the tomatoes, pepper and chicken in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the tomatoes, pepper and chicken, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the rice and olive oil.
- Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
