Nopal (Prickly Pear) and Banana Smoothie

Nopal, also known as prickly pear, may not be the first fruit that comes to mind when you think of fruit to introduce to your child/chidlren! However, this fruit which is actually a berry can be transformed into a refreshing smoothie.

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blending bowl.
  2. Enjoy as a smoothie or pour mixture into Multiportions and freeze for approximately 30 minutes, or until firmly set but not completely frozen.
  3. Add a popsicle to each portion. Freeze until solid.
