Ham, Onion and Brussels Sprout Purée

Have you introduced baby to Brussels sprouts yet? If not, here’s why you should- they’re high in vitamins C and K, as well as vitamins B1 and B6. Not only that, but they also contain good amounts of fiber, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids.

  1. Put the Brussels sprouts, ham and onion in the steamer basket.
  2. Pour water into the tank (level 3).
  3. Start the cooking process.
  4. When the Brussels sprouts, ham and onion are cooked, pour them into the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
  5. Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
Recipe Notes

As always, please check with your pediatrician before introducing new foods to your baby.
