Artichokes are extremely rich in minerals. They also contain a type of sugar called insulin, which promotes a balanced amount of intestinal floral and gives the veggie a sweet taste which is enjoyed even by very young children.

Artichokes are extremely rich in minerals. They also contain a type of sugar called insulin, which promotes a balanced amount of intestinal floral and gives the veggie a sweet taste which is enjoyed even by very young children.
Ingredients
- 1 artichoke
- 1 tablespoon baby formula prepared
- drizzle olive oil (can be used instead of formula for older babies)
Instructions
- Peel off the first layer or two of artichoke leaves and break the stem by hand to pull out all of the artichoke’s hard fibers.
- Cut the raw artichoke around the bottom. Remove the choke with a teaspoon and cut the heart into big chunks.
- Put the choke in the steamer basket
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the choke is cooked, put it in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Pulse blend three times, adding a little milk and/or cooking liquid between each pulse to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
