Falling for Falafel
Here's our twist on a classic! Falafel is a staple in the Mediterranean diet. Why? Because it's tasty and healthy! Check out our recipe below to get your Fa-la-lafel on.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 2 tbsp fresh garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 teaspon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In the blending bowl, combine chickpeas, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Blend until evenly mixed.
- Once mixed, make form balls of about 3 inch diameter. Place on parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked allthe way through.
- Serve and enjoy alone, on a salad or in a pita sandwich!
