cream of chicken soup

This recipe is our take on chicken (noodle-less) soup for baby. It’s full of protein and carbs to ensure that your little one has lots of energy!

Good to Know: Sweet potatoes contain lots of fiber, which contributes to the health of your baby’s digestive track, and Vitamin A, which contributes to the health of tissues and organs. A yam may be used in place of sweet potato – the difference between the two is the color and texture. Yams are even more moist and sweeter than sweet potatoes and the skin of a yam is dark red with orange flesh, while sweet potatoes have a light brown skin.
  1. Put the vegetables and chicken in the steamer basket.
  2. Pour water into the tank (level 3).
  3. Start the cooking process, reserving the cooking liquid when vegetables and chicken are completely cooked.
  4. Add the formula and butter to saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Put the cooked vegetables and chicken in the blending bowl.
  6. Pulse 3 times, adding the milk and butter between each pulse to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend. If additional liquid is needed, use reserved cooking liquid.
