Cream of Celery
Celery can easily be overlooked as a food for baby; it is a great source of vitamin C, though, and has properties that work against indigestion. We added cheese to this recipe to mellow out the overall taste, since the taste of celery can be a bit strong for baby.

Cream of Celery
Celery can easily be overlooked as a food for baby; it is a great source of vitamin C, though, and has properties that work against indigestion. We added cheese to this recipe to mellow out the overall taste, since the taste of celery can be a bit strong for baby.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup celery stalks sliced
- 1/4 cup potato cubed
- 1 wedge Laughing Cow cheese
Instructions
- Put the celery and potato in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the celery and potato are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the cheese.
- Add some of the cooking liquid, if necessary, to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
