Here’s a slightly more sophisticated purée recipe – it’s a great blend of nutrient-dense veggies and protein-rich fish. The cod may be replaced by other types of fish, or even chicken.

Here's a slightly more sophisticated purée recipe - it's a great blend of nutrient-dense veggies and protein-rich fish. The cod may be replaced by other types of fish, or even chicken.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cauliflower divided into florets
- 1/4 cup potato cubed
- 1 ounce cod
- 1 teaspoon créme fraiche
Instructions
- Put the cauliflower, potato and cod in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the cauliflower, potato and cod are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the créme fraiche, and some of the cooking liquid if needed to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
