Cinnamon Maple Almond Butter
Did you know almond butter has twice the amount of fiber that peanut butter does? It also contains 50% less sugar, along with a few other nutritional benefits. So, we decided to make our very own in Babycook! See below for the full recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cups almonds soaked overnight
- 1/4 tspn salt
- 1/4 tspn cinnamon
- 2 tspn maple syrup
Instructions
- Place the almonds into the blending bowl. Blend until creamy. This may take a few minutes, first the almonds may turn crumbly, but eventually the butter texture will start to form.
- Once smooth, add the salt, cinnamon and maple syrup into the blending bowl.
- Place your butter in a jar of your choice and enjoy! Store in the fridge for up to a week.
