  1. Put the milk, espresso and butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat until the milk is scalded, about 3 minutes.
  3. Put the chocolate in the blending bowl.
  4. Pour the milk mixture into the blending bowl and blend until the chocolate is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the eggs and blend until no lumps remain.
  6. Pour into cups and chill until set, about 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Garnish with the chocolate shavings, if desired, and serve.
