Chocolate & Coconut “Nice” Cream

Who knew that ice cream could be made in a Babycook? The heat of the summer inspired us to try it out, and sure enough it worked! This is the first recipe in a series that we adapted from Well + Good. Enjoy!

Who knew that ice cream could be made in a Babycook? The heat of the summer inspired us to try it out, and sure enough it worked! Instructions

  1. Add the dates to the blending bowl and pulse-blend until a fine consistency is reached.
  2. Pour the coconut milk into the blending bowl.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla and optional honey to the blending bowl. Pulse-blend until smooth.
  4. Pour into Multiportions containers and freeze for approximately an hour and a half, or until frozen (but not frozen solid).
  5. Before serving, add desired amount of nice cream back into the blending bowl and pulse-blend until a smooth consistency is reached.
