This recipe is a mix of unusual flavors for baby food, but it is a great introduction to these new flavors! To our surprise, babies often enjoy the bitter taste of lime which can easily be adjusted in this recipe to your baby's liking.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Chinese cabbage sliced and packed
- 3/4 tablespoons rice
- 3.5 ounces chicken breast cubed
- juice from 1/2 lime
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 pinch curry
Instructions
- Put the rice in the Rice, Pasta and Grain insert.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3) and 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons of water directly into the bowl.
- Start the cooking process.
- When the rice is cooked, put it in a bowl and set it aside.
- Put the cabbage and chicken in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the cabbage and chicken are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the rice, lime juice, olive oil and curry to the blending bowl.
- Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
