Black Rice Pudding with Coconut and Mango
This isn’t your grandma’s rice pudding – baby’s taste buds are in for a real treat with this Asian-inspired dessert! If baby needs a boost of fiber, look no further. This ‘pudding’ contains lots of fiber for baby from the rice and coconut, while the mango provides just enough sweetness.

Black Rice Pudding with Coconut and Mango
This isn't your grandma's rice pudding - baby's taste buds are in for a real treat with this Asian-inspired dessert! If baby needs a boost of fiber, look no further. This 'pudding' contains lots of fiber for baby from the rice and coconut, while the mango provides just enough sweetness.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup black rice (uncooked)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 cup mango cubed
- 2 tablespoons unsweetend coconut flakes
Instructions
- Put rice in the Rice, Pasta and Grain Insert.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3) and 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons of water directly into the insert.
- Start the cooking process.
- When the rice is cooked, put it in the blending bowl with the coconut milk, cardamom, mango and coconut flakes. Put cooking liquid aside.
- Pulse to blend to desired consistency.
