Beet Hummus
Nothing beets a healthy AND delicious snack (see what we did there? 🙂 )- we’re currently loving this Beet Hummus. Not only is this snack a fun color to introduce to little ones, it’s adult-approved, too.

Beet Hummus
Nothing beets a healthy AND delicious snack (see what we did there? 🙂 )- we're currently loving this Beet Hummus. Not only is this snack a fun color to introduce to little ones, it's adult-approved, too.
Ingredients
- 1 uncooked beet cubed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can chickpeas drained
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Put the cubed beet and garlic in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the reservoir (level 2).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the beet and garlic cloves are cooked, put them in the blending bowl and discard the cooking liquid.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Pulse to blend, adding additional olive oil if needed.
