A serving of greens, grains and goodness! This dish will catch baby's eye and satisfy their appetite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup collard greens frozen
- 1/2 cup green beans sliced
- 1/4 cup + 3 tablespoons brown rice
Instructions
- Put the rice into the Rice, Pasta and Grain insert.
- Pour 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons water directly into the steamer basket, and then pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the rice is cooked, put it into a separate bowl to the side.
- Put the collard greens and green beans in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the collard greens and green beans are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add the rice and some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
