Apricot Trifle
This French-inspired trifle stimulates the taste buds and introduces baby to new textures and flavors!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dried apricots sliced
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 teasp coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
Instructions
- Put the apricots in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 2).
- Start the cooking process.
- Meanwhile, heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the oatmeal and sugar.
- Stir constantly until the mixture becomes caramel.
- Pour caramel into a heatproof container and let it cool.
- When the apricots are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
- Add cooking liquid, if necessary, to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
- In a small glass, layer apricot purée, cream cheese and then caramel.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used up.
