Here's our take on the classic apple crumble - it includes apricots, and is simplified for baby!
Ingredients
- 2 cups apples cubed
- 1 cup dried apricots sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrhenheit.
- Put the apples and apricots in steamer basket.
- Pour water into tank (level 2).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the apples and apricots are cooked, put them in the blending bowl. If your baby is under 8 months, this is a good stopping point- add to the Multiportions tray or any other oven-safe baking dish.
- Combine butter, flour and spices until the consistency is that of breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle butter/flour combination on top of fruit.
- Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crumble topping is browned.
Recipe Notes
- As always, please check with your pediatrician before introducing new foods to your baby.
