Apple and Rhubarb

Rhubarb is not commonly introduced to children; however, it can easily be sweetened  by fruit and even a sprinkle of sugar. Rhubarb contains lots of fiber which is healthy for both children and adults!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Put the apples in the steamer basket.
  3. Pour water into the tank (level 3).
  4. Start the cooking process.
  5. When the apples are cooked, place them in the bottom of a ramekin.
  6. Put the rhubarb, milk and butter in a small saucepan.
  7. Heat until butter is melted.
  8. Add the beaten egg, flour and sugar while stirring.
  9. Pour rhubarb-egg mixture into the ramekin.
  10. Place the ramekin in the oven; bake for 30-35 minutes.
