Sweet Veggie Smoothie
Here's a recipe for babies, kids and even parents- all that needs to be adjusted is whether the fruits and veggies are cooked (for baby), and how much liquid is added. It's as simple as can be- enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups carrot chopped
- 1/2 cup apple cubed
- 1/2 cup pear cubed
- 1/2 - 1 cup water, pineapple juice, or milk of choice
Instructions
- Put the carrot, apple and pear in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the carrot, apple and pear are cooked, pour them into the blending bowl, reserving some of the cooking liquid.
- Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend. Note that this purée will be on the thicker side, so for a creamier purée add more cooking liquid or milk of choice.
