Add a little something different to your baby's applesauce with quince. A rich source of vitamin C, zinc, potassium, cooper iron, and dietary fiber, this fruit is also deliciously sweet and juicy, making you and baby both happy.
Ingredients
- 2 cups apples cubed
- 1 cup quince cubed
- 2 pinches cinnamon
- 1/3 cup water, breast milk or stock
Instructions
- Put the apples and quince in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the apples and quince are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid unless using breast milk/stock.
- Add the cinnamon to the blending bowl.
- Add some of the cooking liquid to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
