  1. Put the bread into a small bowl and cover with milk.
  2. Let it soak in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. When the bread is done soaking, put it in the blending bowl with the egg and pulse blend only until combined.
  4. Add the apples and cherries to the bread-milk-egg mixture and pour into a ramekin.
  5. Carefully place ramekin into the steamer basket.
  6. Pour water into the tank (level 3).
  7. Start the cooking process.
  8. When the pudding is done cooking, carefully remove from the steamer basket and let cool slightly before serving.
